This fun family activity event will include a short presentation about Monarchs and their migration through Texas as well as a family gardening activity so you can help feed the monarchs at your house!
This event requires registration. Register in person at the Youth Services desk at the Library, or by phone at 972-204-7740. We are limited to 30 families; each family will work on one garden pot together. All ages are welcome to attend but activity participants should be ages 5+.

We’re back for our second year at the April 18th Aspasians Marketplace! Monarchs are the only butterflies that make a lengthy journey – up to 3,000 miles – twice each year. Learn how, when, why and other facts about this endangered butterfly at the Rockwall County Open Space Alliance booth where you’ll find reference information on Monarch!
